Pregnancy Loss Ceremony
These pregnancies deserve to be honored, as well as the body which held them.
-
In this 2 hour ceremony we begin with a full assessment of the individual mother's birth experience and discover where her body and soul need support.
-
Then we use heat, herbs, ritual, rebozo, and sound healing to close the chakras of the body which have been opened by giving birth.
-
This is followed by binding the belly in a traditional Bekung Belly Bind which facilitates healing by bring the abdomen muscles back together, supporting the back and stomach muscles, holding the uterus up and in the correct position for full health and wellness.
-
I will teach you how to bind yourself with the wrap so that you can continue to wear it each day as your body comes back into balance. This was a common practice in many ancient cultures during the postpartum period and is one of the missing keys to maternal health in the west.
Over the course of my child bearing years, I experienced 3 miscarriages and 1 abortion. I see my experiences as a source of wisdom, and I am happy to share from personal experience and extensive research refreshing perspectives on pregnancy loss. These formative experiences taught me so much about the female body, psyche, and healing process. These pregnancies deserve to be honored, as well as the body which held them.
I look forward to supporting you in your healing journey with kindness and discretion.
